Active Noise Reduction
White noise machines, fans, and air purifiers are standard in infant rooms. Most monitors pick up that sound as ambient noise — the parent hears the machine, not the baby. Hardware-based Active Noise Reduction filters out that background, passing only the sounds that matter.
